What is an Automobile
The word “Automobile” is derived from the Greek word “autos” meaning self and the Latin word “mobile” meaning “movable”. An automobile is a self-propelled vehicle that travels on land. It consists of either an internal combustion engine powered by gasoline, diesel, etc., or alternative means like an electric battery, fuel cell, etc. The primary function of an automobile is to carry people and goods from one place to another. All bikes, cars, trucks, buses, etc. are a few examples included in it.
Simply to say, anything that has its own power source and moves on the road is an automobile.
